Friends of Paper Antler:
It’s been a while since we gave a personal update, so here we grow.
001- Earlier this week, Minnesota Bride published an article on the Fifty Nifty! We are so grateful to Sarah Baumann for her excellent writing and to everyone at Minnesota Bride for their support of this beast of a project. You can read the article here or pick up a copy of Minnesota Bride basically anywhere in the heartland.
002- Speaking of the Fifty Nifty, we are up to 11 weddings booked, which means $11,000 to help fight human-trafficking in Honduras. We’re 22% of the way there and are so excited to see what the rest of this year and next, has in store! There are way too many people to thank at this point, but if you have booked us to shoot your 2012 wedding, told your friends and family members about the Fifty Nifty, sent out emails, posted on facebook, etc., please give yourself a hug from us. If you haven’t done any of those things, don’t worry; there is still time and we have lots of hugs to give. Don’t know what the hey I’m talking about? Check out all of the info your heart can handle on the Fifty Nifty here.
003- On Tuesday, Michelle and I had the opportunity to work with an incredibly talented team of individuals on a shoot for Southern Weddings Magazine. We worked with this same beautiful crew of people for the lovely Graphic + Glitz shoot that you can see featured on 100 Layer Cake. The shoot took place at a dear friend’s home (Thank you Meyer family!) and was derby-themed. The rain and hail almost held us back, but the humidity and ridiculous heat that followed, certainly did not. To give you an idea of how hot it was on Tuesday, Minneapolis was more humid and hotter than: Brazil, Peru, Congo, Ivory Coast, India, and Indonesia.
Anyhow, the shoot was amazing and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a talented team. Because the photos are super top-secret, you can enjoy the following behind-the-scenes shots.

That’s all for now. Check back soon for Jessica + Dan’s beautiful, cowboy-boot filled wedding!
Until then, know that someone at Paper Antler loves you.
