Greetings from Minneapolis.  We’ve taken a bit of a break from blogging for the past couple of weeks, but we’re back on the horse for the time being.

It’s hard to believe that August is here and that we are well over half-way through the Fifty Nifty.  We’ve photographed 23 out of our 38 weddings for the year and have close to $43,000 accounted for She Dances’ safe home for victims of human trafficking.  A humungous thank you is continually in order to all of you who have helped, housed, fed, or encouraged us throughout this journey.  It’s been far more meaningful, humbling, and at times difficult, than either of us could have ever imagined but we are overall simply grateful.  Last week the Wisconsin State Journal did a nice write-up on the Fifty Nifty that you can check out here.  My favorite line is that we appeared, “happy but a bit dazed”.  Thanks to Doug Moe for his support and excellent work.

After our wedding in Belle Plaine, MN this weekend, we start making our way out East for a string of weddings in Pennsylvania, Vermont, Boston, and New York with a couple of jaunts to Vail and San Francisco in between.
